POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will provide a comprehensive, efficient, high-quality 3rd line technical support service for all aspects of the Trust’s core server infrastructure and related technologies. The post holder will lead in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects aligned to Trust objectives and the IT strategy, where necessary coordination of the involvement of the other members of the Core team, the Technical Services Division, members of Trust staff and external suppliers.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leading a team of high skilled engineers to ensure timely and accurate processing of project activities/tasks as per the defined timelines;

Provide assistance on questions/queries by acting as a SME and address issues within the team;

Participate in projects with focus on value, efficiency;

Manage performance appraisal for direct reports;

Take initiatives to enhance and streamline processes in corporate operations;

Design a complex platform for virtualization environment with redundancy elements;

Datacenter migrations;
-
Maintains appropriate time to resolution (TTR) for tickets;
-
Prioritizes workload to ensure time for projects;
-
Escalates problem (when required) to the appropriate technician.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

5+ years of previous experience in IT Infrastructure support role;

REQUIRED DEGREE:

BS/BA in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field;
