Application Developer
(SQL, .Net)
Application Engineer - Developer should contribute to the maintenance and development of IT Solutions department.
Roles and responsibilities:

On-going applications technical support and administering, including installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting

Design, development, testing and deployment of new custom applications and reports
-
Adopt to comply with and enforce Information Protection requirements
-
Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation, procedures and processes
-
Participate in projects as developer, tech lead
-
Communicate and consult with multiple technical teams (Infrastructure Support, Applications Support, vendor, Chevron IT support, etc)
-
Sharing lessons learned and knowledge with peers
-
Work with customers to identify and document their needs
-
Translate customer needs to technical specifications and project execution plans
-
Implement technical specifications
-
Windows servers administration, support and maintenance
-
Others tasks as arise
Skills and qualifications:
Should be graduate in the Computer Science related major with at least bachelor degree. Not less than 3 years’ experience as developer is required. In addition, candidates having background in application development is highly preferred.
• Software developer skills (.Net, .Net MVC and any other programming language)
• Knowledge and work experience with Windows Server OS including virtual and cloud solutions, web servers: MS IIS
• Experience with application support and troubleshooting and the Proven capability to successfully troubleshoot software problems
• Knoweledge and experince in client/server architecture
• Experience with Team Foundation Server
• SQL/Oracle database design understanding and PL/SQL language knowledge
• Ability to produce quality work in a timely fashion; Prioritizing skills
• Intermediate or higher verbal and written English communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving/analytical skills
• Teamwork skills; Self starter
• Organizing and Planning Skills
It is required for a candidate to know about reporting tools (Crystal, SSRS) and MS Dynamics CRM, ETL tool as IBM InfoSphere DataStage are desired.
