Documentum Data Migration Specialist
Job Responsibilities:

Data Analysis for the migration of documents from one Documentum instance to another

Plan and execute data migration from one Documentum instance to another
-
Data Quality and Data Validation prior and after the migration.

Prepare reports for all stages of migration.

Participate in the software design, development, and implementation of applications using OpenText Documentum & other Java based applications.
Skills Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

Experience in software design or application development

Experience with core EMC Documentum Content Server, Webtop, DFC, DFS, D2, Asset Operations, Capital Projects in a large-scale Enterprise setting

Knowledge of ADTS & xPlore

Knowledge of DQL, API and fundamental Documentum core functionality

Upgrading the Documentum system from an older version to a newer version

Expert in Java / J2EE
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Experience in RDBMS concepts (SQL Server preferred), software design, data structures and modeling techniques.

Experience in large volumes of documents migration in Documentum (1,5 MM documents, 4TB of data)
